Grand Hotel Quisisana hosted the 39th Conference of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria, reaffirming itself as a unique and excellent venue for this important event. Over the years, numerous significant economic and social topics have been discussed, providing a platform for dialogue between politics, institutions, and entrepreneurs. In the stunning setting of Capri, the Quisisana hosted the 39th Conference, dedicated to the challenges and opportunities of the Mediterranean region and the peoples of Africa. The Capri Conference was founded in 1985 with the goal of giving a voice to the needs of Southern Italy and promoting the reduction of the North-South divide, fostering dialogue and collaboration for the economic and social development of the entire country.
During the two days of discussions, politics, institutions, and businesses tackled crucial issues such as the ecological transition, innovation, education, and the Mattei Plan for Africa, promoted by the Italian Government. Among the most notable speakers were Emanuele Orsini, President of Confindustria, Riccardo Di Stefano, President of the Young Entrepreneurs, and Adolfo Urso, Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy.
A central moment of the event was the Talentis – GI Startup Program, created to support and promote Italian startups. This year, five finalists competed for the grand prize:
• QSENSATO, the first innovative startup in Quantum Sensing in Southern Europe;
• PARKINGMYCAR, specializing in the booking and payment of public and private parking spaces;
• BUGSLIFE, dedicated to the sustainable production of animal feed through the breeding of Black Soldier Fly larvae;
• BILLD, a green fintech offering an innovative digital receipt service with artificial intelligence;
• PANDHORA, focused on mechanical and biomedical design in the healthcare sector.
The Talentis award was given to PANDHORA for their ongoing commitment to designing and producing biomedical aids for people with disabilities. BILLD, on the other hand, received a special award from Forbes Italy, media partner of the event. The award was presented by the CEO of Forbes Italy, Nicola Formichella, and the President of the Young Entrepreneurs, Riccardo Di Stefano, to Nicola Pierozzi, co-founder and CEO of BILLD.
With its timeless elegance and impeccable service, the Grand Hotel Quisisana once again earned the highest recognition from all the guests, confirming its status as the ideal venue for this international event and its role as a benchmark for the business world.
